The GelWrap TW series of insulating and sealing kits provide a quick and easy method to cover splices and skinnings on tree wire and spacer cable. The GelWrap TW kits are a practical way to insulate and the cable.
Fast and easy installation
The innovative wrap around design means on parking of tubes before splicing. In addition, it makes an ideal solution for covering abandoned skinings where tubular covers are not an option. Simply wrap the sleeve over the cable and snap closed.
Dependable performance
The factories cured silicone gel sealant in the GelWrap sleeve completely encapsulates the connection and cable. Since the Gel is easily stretched and very sticky, it basically forms around the cable and connector sticking to everything including itself. Moisture cannot enter the splics.
PowerGel sealing gel
PowerGel sealing gel was specifically developed for the electrical power industry. It consists of chemical cross linked silicone oil. PowerGel is hyhydrophobic and provides and excellent moisture seal over a wide operating temperature ramge (-40 to 95 degree C)
